Engr. Dr. Domor Mienye is an engineer, researcher, and data and artificial intelligence leader committed to advancing innovation, excellence, and public-focused development. He is a Senior Member of IEEE, a registered engineer with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), and a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE). His work sits at the intersection of engineering, technology, research, and strategic problem-solving.

Trained originally as an engineer, Dr Mienye holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and a Master of Science in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of East London, United Kingdom. He also earned a PhD from the University of Johannesburg, South Africa. His academic and professional journey reflects a strong foundation in engineering systems, analytical thinking, and modern technological innovation.

Dr Mienye has built a career across both academia and industry. He has held research roles including Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Institute for Intelligent Systems, University of Johannesburg, where he worked on machine learning applications in areas such as medical diagnosis and fraud detection. He has held senior industry leadership roles including Lead Analytics Engineer at Amplifi Capital in London and Senior Data Specialist at the United Nations-supported Principles for Responsible Investment in London.

He is widely recognised for his contributions to science and technology. He has published more than 50 peer-reviewed articles, attracted over 6000 Google Scholar citations, and was recognised among the Top 2% Scientists in the World in 2024 and 2025 by Stanford University and Elsevier. He also holds a Senior Member grade in IEEE and a number of editorial roles across international journals and publishers.

Beyond professional achievement, Dr Mienye represents a forward-looking generation of leadership shaped by discipline, global exposure, technical depth, and a commitment to service. His public outlook is rooted in the belief that societies move forward when leadership combines competence, integrity, innovation, and genuine commitment to people.
